"Welcome one and all to our arena battle! Today we've got a match up of Sting and Gilbert here!" The blue Bulborb bounces around in his spot as the Whiptail walks in from the other side. "Is it even legal for one of those to show up here!? Er...Well...Let's move on I guess. This battle will be a one on one! It will be a true test of wether the victor is speed or power! Ready...STAAAARRRT!!!"

Gilbert starts up the battle with a quick run with his spear, getting the first hit in as it scratches the shell of Sting. Sting starts to retaliate by tossing a claw swipe Gilbert's way, but misses as Gilbert leaps up high and uses a basic kick on Sting, knocking him back a bit. Sting then buries himself in the sand, leaving his tail up out of it as it quickly jabs at the dodging Gilbert, but Gilbert takes one wrong step, landing on the buried Sting as he pops out of the ground with Gilbert in his claws. His jaw is wide open and ready to eat Gilbert as the bell rings and the Vegan Pikmin run in, grabbing Gilbert and Sting, carrying them off to the infirmary for a quick check up.
"That's it folks! In a real battle, Gilbert would be a delicious Bulborb sandwich! It looks like the winner is...STIIIIIINNNGAH!" Cue crowd cheer.

Joan Do Lee VS Volug
“Welcome to the Arena! I am your host, Mr. Swanky and today we have a very exciting matchup between the world famous Joan Do Lee who has master Pie-Kwon Dough and the silent Volug who can shift into the form of a wolf! This battle will take place until one gladiator calls for mercy! ARE YOU READY!!!!”
*The horn goes off, opening the two gates on opposite sides of the arena*
“Oh this is exciting, Volug has begun sprinting toward Joan in his wolf form!”
Volug plunges his teeth into the sweet red and white stripped pikmin, but suddenly the pikmin disolves.
“What is this? It seems Joan has melted away”
Suddenly Joan appears from behind Volug and punches him right in the snout.
“OHHH that has got to hurt!”
Volug reels back in pain, but quickly leaps back onto his four feet. Volug lashes out in the direction where Joan had been moments before, but he had again vanished. Suddenly the Wolf is surrounded by 5 identical clones of Joan Do Lee. They slowly begin encircling the poor wolf.
“Oh no folks, it looks like this might be it! Volug is panicking and doesn’t know which one is real!”
Suddenly, Volug knows what he needs to do. He closes his eyes and takes in a deep whiff. Four of the copies smell just like pie, but the last smells slightly different…
“WHAT?!?!? No way!”
Volug had leaped onto the one that was different, catching the Pie-Kwon Dough expert off guard.
“It looks like that is it folks, Joan is too injured to continue fighting without causing significant damage! The victor this time is Volug and his acute wolf senses!!!”

Bok vs Crawdad
“Alright folks we are back with more action! It’s me again, your host Mr. Swanky! In the arena tonight, we have Crawdad, the father of 7 who has a full day job on top of this, and Bok who… well we don’t really know much about Bok, just that he is big and doesn’t say much. Alright contestants, here we go!”
*The horn sounds and the gates open*
“Crawdad has burried under the sand of the arena and completely disappeared! Bok has walked toward the center, smashing pillars in his wake… that’s not gonna be fun to clean up!”
Crawdad busts out from underneath Bok’s feet, startling the Ice Giant. The Ice Golem quickly reacts by taking his ice club and whacking the crawdad in mid flight.
“What a hit! But it didn’t seem to shake that dad up much. Seems his shell absorbed most of the blow.”
Crawdad digs into the earth once more, only this time digging in a circle around Bok. Bok watches the ridges of the earth come up around him in a circle, and starts hitting the earth with his ice club to no avail. Suddenly, the circle is complete, and the earth beneath Bok’s feet caves in!
“This doesn’t look good for Bok! He is trapped in the sands of the arena!”
Crawdad comes out from under the earth and begins hitting Bok repeatedly in the face.
“Didn’t pay the bills…. Wife leaves me for pool guy…. kids don’t go to bed… have to work two jobs!”
“Oh folks, it looks like this dad has gone mad!”
Suddenly the massive Ice Golem snaps out of it and pulls himself up. He looks directly at Crawdad who has froze in place in terror. The Golem picks up the armored crawmad and suddenly hugs him.
“Its ok. You did best you could. Wish I had dad like you.”
The Crawdad bursts out in tears, hugging the massive ice creature back.
“WHAA! Why did she leave me? How can I pay rent? WAAAAAA!!!”
The field has become aqwardly silent…
“Well folks… it seems… we have…. a strange event taking place here… umm… neither contestant is able to continue fighting… since the last blow was dealt by Crawdad, we will just call him the winner… I think he needs this in his life anyways….”

"Welcome to the last match everyone! This is it for today! It's the Vegan terror, EVAHGREEEEENN! He's fighting our entry from Rock today! Although he's in a spaceship, he was kind enough to send us this guy through the mail! Mr. Fungus!" A large mushroom wobbles in with two big eyes on the stem along with a big tongue just beneath them. It's a red mushroom! "Are you ready! Let's do this thing! YEAH!"
The bell goes off as the mushroom wobbles up to Evergreen and licks him! Ew! Evergreen is slowed down a bit by the slime as he moves along slowly, but is able to land a powerful punch on the mushroom! He then lifts Mr. Fungus high in the air and throws him out of the arena! Well, that didn't even seem fair.
"WOW! WHAT A BATTLE! He took down Mr. Fungus in nearly two blows! We should double up points for that! But we won't. That was amazing! Great work out there!"

When you buy an offensive upgrade or defensive upgrade for them, you can design their new weapon or armor. It will make it cooler that way!
