Inside the Aquaneers' base, twenty-eight variously colored Water Spirits (for the purpose of battles, they are all able to become clear, but they are usually some color or another) dance around a platform of pure limestone. They spin, swirl, and flow in and out of the surrounding water freely, as if whatever force keeps them together had been removed entirely. The tempo increases, and yet amazingly, not a ripple is made in the water. Faster and faster they spin, and they begin to chant in a strange, gurgling language that sounds like a cross between a river in the middle of a flood and someone drowning. In the center of the stone plinth, lines etched from ice that shows no signs of melting begin to glow a pale blue, which darkens slowly until it matches the color of a tropical sea. The chanting reaches a climax with the same word repeated three times, and as one, the Spirits stop, facing the stone. Atop the altar, two golden cylinders sit. Each is twice the height of a Pikmin when resting on the rolling edge, and several times that when standing up. Suddenly, a whistling sound is heard, and a vaguely humanoid shape falls down onto the rollers, and looks around. It gurgles a question, and Spader speaks back in the same language. It looks him over with non-existent eyes, then, seeming satisfied, nods. It lifts the front roller over its head, and roars in a watery voice. Then it crashes it down, and the Water Spirits begin chanting the last word of their previous chant, evidently this creature's name, over and over again.

Gather 3 Breadbugium 0/4 days 4. Upgrade Axes to Water Axes (same general principle, but they can create a blade of water in front of their metal one as well.) -20 Petals 4/10 days 5.
