Log: Hobey! So many things finished today! We installed our first lines of defense, those being a Water Cannon that shoots giant orbs of the stuff, and the second being a machine that creates huge waves of water! We miniaturized the first concept and made a hundred of the resulting handheld things. We were originally going to name them "Water Guns", but that evoked the image of piddly streams being launched from cheap toys, which these are not. We also finished forging some curved swords, enough for all the Pikmin to use them (though the bigger ones declipsed the offer). And finally, we switched the design we had for the boat for one more suited to what we want; a giant, armored hulk of a boat meant to sink any other ship out there! One last thing; a merchant came by recently, and though the bidding cost us most of our petals, it was worth it for the twenty troops! We also found an ally in one General Pik Pik, who we sent the Skeleton Pikmin. With my brethren now numbering sixteen, we shall begin learning the ways of water magic.

Log: we've received word that the giant ship-thing dropped a package. Apparently, there's some sort of giant carnivorous plant in there. The armies are talking non-stop trying to figure out a way to beat this thing. They say it's coming out in 16 days, which is just enough time for our weapons to be improved, but sadly, not enough time to finish training me and my kin in water magic. We're also creating some new weapons for our troops to try out. They should prove quite effective.

Log: we tried something new today: summoning horses from my world. I mean, we've done something similar, it's how my brethren and I got here at all, but they came of their own accord. These things were taken, but they're treated well despite that; it won't do to have uncooperative mounts now, will it? Anyway, when we saw the success, we started to build some weapons for the riders.
