Log: We found a strange material while gathering up our resources today. This Lustrous Element should be very useful. It is also plentiful as well and could make for good construction and suffice as an excellent bargaining chip. Life has been strangely peaceful the past week. Us Pikmin have been playing around sometimes. It's odd. Things used to be like this all the time a long time ago. Maybe there will be more peaceful gathering in the next week...or so I hope...

Log: I'm just now realizing that our weapons are really lacking. And by lacking, I mean we have none. We have of course the Power Bracelets being researched, but those will not be ready for a while. Perhaps we could start by working on base defenses. I heard one guy say Orange Pikmin powered fire cannons are a popular idea. Do they work though...? Maybe they will if we use that strange element. It seems to react well with the powers of Orange, Light Blue, and Black Pikmin.

Log: New ideas are being thought of for what to do with all of our materials. We've thought of some interesting things such as a giant, flying machine that launches beams of electricity or boats that launch ice at our opponents! These things seem quite amazing and I wonder how we're even supposed to make them. We need to gather up more materials to make the giant electrical beam. I'm interested to see how we can make these things.

You gain the birthday cake. You can end a project instantly, but it still cost the total it would have costed. You can use the cake when you want, but only once.

Log: We've made quite good friends with an aquatic group recently. Despite their pirate-y looks, they aren't that bad once you get to know them. I'm hoping that with us working together, we can work towards a better future for both of us. They also sent us a gift from the merchant. These Skeletal Pikmin are awesome to be around. They're actually pretty funny Pikmin. A Zombie Pikmin was included as well...It creeps me out. That empty gaze and strange inability to communicate properly...Not important though. We also got a cake that never expires. It apparently grants wishes. I'll try it later I guess.

Log: Those machines attacked yesterday. Nearly every one of our Petals were stolen by them. They attacked us as well. There wasn't even a warning or a reason why they attacked. They are clearly an evil threat that must be destroyed as soon as possible. I've put them up on top of the kill list. Once we've finished gathering the Stainless Steel and Petals...They will be finished. Anyway, destroying my enemies aside, we sent the Zombie Pikmin back to our allies. They multiplied since that battle and are starting to creep the other Pikmin out. We will focus our efforts on completing these projects as quickly as we can. Oh, we also got these gun things. I have no idea how they work though. Maybe we can take them apart and learn some of the other group's technology.

Log: We've received a gift from the chaos army. Despite the aggressive behavior of the chaos creatures, the mysterious Captain Chaos seems to be rather friendly. He also gave us some information on the robotic creatures. He sold them strange fluids apparently. The effects of these things are quite powerful as well. I've been meeting with Vo Spader and we've talked about the other armies, going over everyone's strengths and weaknesses. He also mentioned a new group of strange dessert creatures. It seems to me like they would melt before they could attack any of their enemies, but I guess it's possible since nobody has seen them outside of the cold areas.

Log: We've started to take apart some of those weapons left behind by the robots. We decided to study them and how exactly it is they work. Maybe if we do, we will be able to use them ourselves to battle opponents. It will still take a while to put together though. While we've been waiting, we started to turn our current focus on to trade. I've gotten along well with Captain Chaos and we've decided to become trading partners. Also, I think I've seen what Malefio meant...There's something big in the sky...
