I am very surprised to learn there is other life on this planet with intelligence near my level. Well, maybe not quite MY level, but you seem more intelligent than many of the creatures on this planet. I am very intrigued by this. Perhaps from you, I can learn more about this planet and its inhabitants. As for your request, I suppose if all you want is to get food from this place, I can accept your terms, on the condition that you tell me more about this planet and the beings that live on it. i must know if there are others like you.
I shall build a mailbox to help facilitate further communication between us and any other intelligent life that may exist on this planet.

I have received your payment and your information. As promised, you will be allowed to gain food from my land. I suppose I do lead an army of sorts, but rest assured that unless you become aggressive towards me, I have no intention of fighting you. Especially after such a mutually beneficial trade. I trust I can expect the same from you? I will investigate these other groups. They seem intriguing, but I must make sure they're not my enemy. And if they are...I'll have to formulate a plan...

This is worrying. Perhaps we will have to find somewhere else to gather food. I don't have any kind of long-term solution. I will try to find a way to help, but I don't know what I can do. We shall have to look into this.

Dear Pace,
I have...troubling news. You may or may not have heard this, but the other night, I heard gunshots and explosions coming from the direction of Hales base. All but one of the commanders you informed me of swore that they'd not attack anyone until they were attacked first. The only one I haven't heard from is that moon cultist. I am worried about what this means. Thanks to my letter, he knows I'm here. What if I'm next? What if this cultist plunges this world into war? I must decide a plan to manage this...
