Arvarice? Heh. At first, I kinda wished I had joined a couple days earlier, because this "party" that's going on seems like it would've been a great way for Warui to be introduced to the others(because he wouldn't know about them yet.). Seeing how it's then turning out now,though, I'm kinda glad I wasn't. I'm not even sure what's going on with that, but there seems to be a lot of fighting amongst the commanders, and I don't think Warui could actually take them in a fight on his own. I guess in retrospect I dodged a bullet there...assuming I'm even accepted in the first place, that is.

I guess. It's just funny that it happens right before I came back. Especially now that I know losses there wouldn't count anyway. Which would be good. I can't imagine Warui standing up to any of the other commanders, even if he is a genius(and mad scientist(i have a sprite I made of him somewhere, if I could find it)). I mean, it'd be like trying to fight something using only Olimar. And I guess he can be introduced to the other factions some other way. Maybe someone can leave a letter at his base and in doing so alert him to the fact that he's not the only one here? And then I can slowly reveal his story(he disguises himself so that no one can see his Pikmin flower, and he still wears his helmet even though he could probably breath the air now that he's part Pikmin.). I have a vague idea of what's going to happen, and the reveals that will occur and in what order they will occur. I look forward to it, because that is the whole reason I created this character. I will also probably be the most non-aggressive mad scientist to ever exist, by the way. Ill probably never attack anyone on my own, both because I don't want to lose too early and because I don't want to make someone ELSE lose. I'm a nice guy IRL, but it will be fun to act off the wall nuts. Like Eggman. I talk too much, though. Gonna do the logs and stuff soon.

I just don't want to lose before I can pull off all the twists and turns I have planned. I'll probably fight EVENTUALLY, though not for a while, at least. By the way, I have made my logs and stuff, including a topic specifically for me to keep track of what I want to happen in the future for Dr. Warui, as well as his past, if you're curious and want to know it before your armies do.

If Blood updates the current event(I don't think we're waiting on anyone there?), then, well...I'm here, you're here, Blood'd obviously be here, I can "probably" get Groping here, and maybe if we can get some activity going it'll draw Pen back(He said to pm him when activity picked up.) Not sure where Ultra went, but at least it'd be something. Otherwise, we'll just sit here and do nothing. I even updated my logs yesterday(against my better judgement, as I did nothing but get titanium for lack of better ideas. I did it mostly for the sake of doing SOMETHING.) in the vain hope that someone would notice. Afterall, it seems to me that everyone left because of inactivity. But it also means there's inactivity because everyone left. See the viscious cycle here? Someone has to make the first move, or else it'll just keep getting worse and worse. So I'm gonna try to update my logs every day, if not just so if anyone randomly checks in, they'll see it, and maybe, just maybe, they'll see it and realize the game is still clinging to life, and they might update too(which in turn, would hopefully bring even more people back), so that we can bring everyone back.
It especially sucks because I feel like this might partially be because I had to stop for a while while I dealt with finals and the like. Because suddenly, everyone else disappeared right after. It's like a domino effect. And I was looking forward to this(even if I had no real expectation of victory), so I'm gonna keep trying to keep this alive.
(but seriously, Blood, you could at least update the event. Mal, Pen, and Groping (and you, technically) had all responded since the last update, and now I've joined in. I don't think it'd hurt to at least respond so that those who are here can continue. I mean, Pen's not coming back until there's activity, so waiting for him is pointless. Groping hasn't logged on in a while, but from Steam chats, I think he's still checking in regardless. The only way we're getting Pen back is if we actually DO something. Ya get me? )
...That was starting to sound like a motivational speech there.

People aren't coming on because there's no one here, but there's no one here because people aren't coming on. Someone has to break said cycle. That's why I updated my logs with nothing but Titanium-gathering, because even though I probably should've waited and thought out what to do with the days, I felt that I had to do something to show you and Mal that I was here, so that maybe you'd start updating too, and maybe the others, seeing that activity was happening again, would return. Because if I didn't do something, then no one else would either. Basically, I really don't want to let this die. And with Ultra actually commenting, I feel even more hopeful than before. To be honest, I was sad when, after having to deal with schoolwork after schoolwork, including finals, I came back here and it was deserted. It's like my temporary leaving caused a domino effect or something. |
