Okay, so two unrelated question, but didn't feel like posting in two different topics.
1.I don't know I'm attacked right? So basically I identify my patrols and what they do if they spot someone?
2.There's not really any dark-based material, can I build dark weapons?

As for what I see as the answers to your questions:
1. that's about it, initially, but during the battle you can start launching counter attacks.
2. This is more a question of my own, but what the heck is a dark-based weapon? Are you killing someone by...light suffocation?
