Black Pikmin:
A fast, stealthy, and agile pikmin that has a lowered chance of being seen in dark areas due to its black skin. It has good eyesight, which allows it to see better than most in dark places.
Brown Pikmin:
A slow walker, but fast digger, these pikmin are excellent burrowing units due to their large claws, which they can also use to attack enemies. They happen to be crush resistant due to many years of enduring failing rocks and caved tunnels.
Red pikmin:
A staple in any army, red pikmin are the classic color. they were originally discovered by Olimar, and have been used by almost every captain since. They are resistant to even the most extreme heat, and have some extra attack power due to their long, pointy noses.
Volcanic Nimkip:
An odd pikmin species that is entirely black. This particular variety seems to be a sort of Ant-red pikmin. They won't explode when they touch red pikmin, but can throw small bursts of flame at enemies, giving them range, but have no sort of resistance to fire at all.
Lightning Nimkip:
Another variety of the Nimkip species. These seem to be the opposite of yellow pikmin, and can fire small bolts of electricity at enemies, but have no sort of resistance to it themselves.
Aquatic Nimkip:
A sort of Anti-blue pikmin. They seem to be able to condense water vapor, which they use against enemies as a weapon, The water they throw can drown enemies and themselves without any sort of differentiation.
Corrosive Nimkip:
A strange type of Nimkip that can generate small bubbles of acid. Effective against most metals and troops, as well as themselves.
Kinetic Nmikip:
Anti-purple pikmin. They can control kinetic energy and crush smaller units, or push them into hazards. A hit from a blast of this energy will leave a larger creature with a bloody bruise.
Toxic Nimkip:
Can create a steady stream of poisonous gasses. Great for flushing enemies out of areas. They have no resistance to the poison.
Darkness Pikmin:
The ancestors of the nimkips. These pikmin can control the dark energy. The dark energy is deadly to just about any creature, accept for the nimkips and darkness pikmin, who normally live in it.
Gold Pikmin:
Obviously a gold color, these special pikmin are extremely heavy. They have really strong legs, due to carrying around all their weight. They can use this strength to jump, and have a homing ability similar to purple pikmin. They can home on nearby enemies after jumping, and crush them with their sheer weight. They are very slow because of their weight, and need the enemies to come to them. They are crush resistant, and surprisingly only have the arm strength of 1 pikmin.
General Nimkip Notes:
Nimkips are not resistant to the element they control. Nimkips don't have any way to fight in hand to hand combat. Attacks take a bit to charge up, they can't just rapid fire multiple bolts of electricity.
