So I've been trying to figure out what type of army I wanna play next version...
I have been thinking about 3 particular kinds of armies.
The first is a roman themed army.
I would use traditional roman themed troops and rely on upgrading their classes to higher ranked versions (Example: Legionary to hastati. Slingers to skirmishers. etc) and providing weapons for them. They would be an elite ground force, with some navy, but would have NO air support...
The second would be Attila the Hun
This army would be a rush army, designed to start off attacking and raiding at the very start. They would be extremely strong at the start, but would lose out if groups got built up. So the pro is that they will be a great early game army, but the cons is that they will be a terrible late game army!
The third is a WWII Alliance theme
Being the alliance, they will initially focus on economy and manufacturing. They will have a decent all around balance of troops with a decent ground force, decent air force, and decent navy. What they will be susceptible to is early game attacks, because since they focus on the long run they neglect the short run.
Basically its Protoss vs Zerg vs Tarran and I CANT DECIDE ON MY OWN!
