Welcome to challenge Mode! There are various NPC Missions that you can complete for a reward. If you fail the objective, you go home empty handed. You must come up with a plan that is up to par with the difficulty rating, and a little bit better to keep from failing. A third party will write the battle.
Sniper Problems
Description:
There are twenty highly skilled snipers hiding out in the forest of hope! They are terrorizing the inhabitants and anyone who passes through. And anyone who passes through. They seem have climbed and are hiding out in the trees themselves, and are wearing high quality camouflage. Hunt them down and eliminate them, before they chase off all of our business and Citizens!
Enemy Units: 20 Skilled Pikmin Snipers, Each with 5 day sniper rifle and a 5 day full body camouflage suit.
Friendly units limit: 50 Ordinaries/5 Specials
Difficulty: Medium/Hard
Reward: 100 Advanced Sniper Rifles (20 days for 50), Advanced Sniper Tactics.
Researchers Gone Bad
Description:
A group of researchers has gotten out of control! We hired them to help do design some genetic modification for our troops and they Went crazy! They have been capturing and experimenting on all kinds of random people. We didn't even ask them to do that! We need your help to take down their lab, It shouldn't be too hard, they only have 100 armed guards. The guards are armed with Shock Rods and Bullet Proof vests!
Enemy Units: 100 Armed Pikmin Guards, Each with a shock rod and a Bullet proof vest!
Friendly Unit Limits: 100 Ordinaries/10 Specials
Difficulty: Easy/Medium
Reward: 60 petals.
Our Ore!
Description:
A group of Pikmin Bandits has seized our ore vein! It's the only source of income our poor village has had for a while, and we need it back, it excavates Precious Metals such as platinum. If you can get it back, we'll gladly give you a bit the ore! The bandits are camping out inside the excavation site itself, meaning vehicles won't be able to access the area. We know that there are about fifty bandits with high quality Assault Rifles and Titanium Body Armor! Good luck.
Enemy Units: 50 Pikmin Bandits, Each with an Assault Rifle (20 days per 50) and full body Titanium armor.
Friendly Unit Limits: 50 Ordinaries/5 Specials
Difficulty: Medium
Reward: 20 Silver
Calm down Borbs!
5 Crazy Bulborbs are raging through town eating everyone! Calm them down, or kill them, so they will stop eating us! There are 3 spotty bulborbs and 2 Orange bulborbs! They are unarmed.
Enemy units: 3 Spotty Bulborbs, 2 Orange Bulborbs
Friendly unit Limits: 50 Ordinaries/50 Specials, or 10 days of War Machines
Difficulty: Easy
Reward: 3 Requisition
Sheargrub Infestation
Description:
We just moved into our new home, only to find it has a massive Sheargrub Nest in it! There are both female an Male sheargrubs all around the property! Please remove them for us!
Enemy units: 100 Female Sheargrubs, 50 male sheargrubs, 50 shearwigs
Friendly Units limits: 100 Ordinaries/10 Specials, or 20 days worth of War Machines.
Difficulty: Medium
Reward: 40 petals
Larva Swarm I: The Big Bad Queen
Description:
A Local Cave is filled with bulborb larva. They keep swarming our base, and are being annoying in general. Please clear the cave and destroy the Queen producing the larva. The cave has 4 Sub Levels, and has about 150 Larva on each floor, you might be able to fit a few small war machines through the cave entrance. Most of the other creatures in the cave have already been killed by the hungry larva. Good Luck.
Enemy Units: 600 Bublorb Larva, 1 Empress Bublax (Will have the abilities of the Empress Bublax in The Cave Of Beasts).
Friendly unit Limits: 1000 ordinaries/100 specials, 10 day war machine(X2).
Difficulty: Hard
Reward: 50 Titanium and 50 petals.
