thats something I have been thinking about for a while. Why do people lose their equipment when they are right next to the gear?

Armor I understand, most of the time that's lost. Most weapons should be salvaged though under normal circumstances.

Moreso plans and really good equipment. Will say your loses actually would have gotten worse if Abel stuck with his original plan.

Um... Also, the snavian armor and the beak weren't completely obliterated, can't they just be repaired? Oh, and I only had one Stainless Steel, I just forgot to remove it when I used the other piece.
