Well... Leaves is more of a creative things, I would never have thought of making pitfalls if leaves didn't exist. Sure, I didn't find anything else to do with them right now, but my point is this:
You wouldn't do the same things with leaves than with woods.
Creating a bush to hide, disguising a defense turret into a tree, you couldn't do that without leaves.

I feel like leaves are good in creating stealth based stuff. They're mainly there as a creative use kind of material, don't see a pressing motivation to take them out.

I don't really see using them as actual building material realistic. Every time I imagine using them in a battle, I imagine a pikmin just pinching right through an entire war machine. Maybe they could be an "N/A strength?

Agreed on the two posts above!
Leaves would be more of a stealth thing, I don't really see how we can build something with them.

Yeah, it is more of an addition for stealth purposes than an actual material to base a building off of.

... Like those dudes who died while in the bomber, they can rest easy knowing that if they could have had parachutes made for them with leaves. Well rest as in they have no choice now.
