That seems like a good system (although now I'll have to alter Bok a bit; pain doesn't really come into play in a math-based system). Also, you can feel free to write things the way you do now, deviant (that is, you can play the battles out in the "math" section, and then do the write-ups based on how that'd look IRL).
Now, I think I'll put up a very preliminary version of Bok. We've twenty (?) points to allocate, so let's see...
Gladiator: Bok
Size: 5 (the dude is massive) (+3 HP, +3 DEF, -3 SPE)
HP: 2 (+3)
ATK: 6
DEF: 2 (+3)
ACC: 3
SPE: 4 (-3) (so he doesn't have 0 speed)
SKL: 3
Ability: Punt: every time this skill activates, Bok kicks his opponent into the wall. This Attack, which has equal (or greater) power to his normal one, ignores some amount of the opponent's defense.
Also, I thought of a cool idea for Misty.
Gladiator: Misty
Size: Variable (3 for stat calculations) (you'll see)
HP: 4 (+1)
ATK: 3 (+1)
DEF: 2
SPE: 4
ACC: 4
SKL: 3 (+1)
Ability: Pink Blast: outside of the arena, Misty is only a size 3, maybe even 2. However, right before a battle starts, she drinks a ton of water (you can portray her as being taller, fatter or just plain denser). By doing this, she starts at size 5 (or 1/4 her level, if that'd be more balanced) Every time her skill activates, she unleashes a huge blast of water which either does double her Attack, or never misses (whichever would be better). However, when she does this, her size goes down by 1. Using this skill at size 1 results in either immediate fainting (forfeit) or just a hit to her HP (again, whichever would be better).
