Nectar gun: Heal your allies, drown your enemies. 15 petals for 25 nectar guns.
Nectar egg: A big egg full of nectar. Dropping it on your enemies might drown them. 5 petals for 1 nectar egg.
Nectar potion: Completely heal 10 ordinaries or 3 specials makes them faster and immune to pain. 40 petals for 1 nectar potion.
Nectar bomb: A bomb which sends nectar in a huge blast radius. 35 petals for 1 bomb.
Pure nectar shot: Instantly upgrade an entire species. Only works on Pikmins variants. They are multiple type, they all cost 100 petals:
Speed shot: Upgrades speed
Force shot: Upgrades attack power
Resistance shot: Upgrades defense
"The Legend of the lava fish"-costs 10 petals

... Err isn't that a bit on the low side of costs? Unless the beneficial stuff only work on nectar units like the nectar guns healing.

Well, if you could build the nectar guns, it would take 10 days for 100, which is 20 petals... Any idea for the cost of the other items though? I'm not really good to set prices! |

Well I'd say 15 or 20 for the guns since none of our units can heal off them, they seem roughly the same effectiveness as other guns if we classify them as shotguns in a sense but they aren't upgradeable . Nectar eggs could get bumbled to 3 to 5, I think they are closer to mini bomb rocks.
Think the potion price is fine except it should not include the elite part unless that's a separate potion, at current rates we'd just have our elites chugging a ton of those potions during battle.
Bomb seems appropriate.
Course that's just my opinions.
Or I could get ninja'd by better opinions, I still stand by the separate potion for Elites though.

Well thank guys for the help! Potions can't be used on elites.
As for the nectar gun: they heal your allies and hurt your enemies, no matter what species you are.

Alright, if those are the prices set then I'll buy 100 Nectar Guns and 3 Nectar Potions. For 180 Petals if I'm correct.
Allthon also buys 10 Petals worth of miscellaneous Nectar village Sourvineers and doodads.
Off note on the buying another suggestion, an upgrade for Pikmin Troops to Flower Pikmin due to drinking nectar? Just a suggestion for the sake of others as I have next to no Pikmin myself.

The shots are a bit pricey for only upgrading 15 troops. It would cost 1000 petals to upgrade 150 units at that price...

I will edit the shots: they will upgrade an entire species, like normal upgrades are supposed to. Uprading by projects costs 60 petals, so I think 100 petals for an instant upgrade is reasonable. |

I was just concerned about spending so much money to get so few of my guys upgraded. Not that I will need the upgrades for my peaceful guys, but I am thinking about the future!
