Important Battles of PNF-404
The Mech-Bender War
This war began when the Mechanical Demons attacked the Pikmin Warriors base. The results of this battle were not very favorable for either team, with the Demons receiving heavy casualties and the Warriors losing many petals.
The second battle is hotly debated. Some say that when the Pikmin Warriors convinced all of the armies to allow the Mechanical Demons and their allies, Origin Wave to open the box and suffer casualties by not receiving support, the Pikmin Warriors had actually committed an act of war. Others argue that this part of the battle should be omitted from the Mech-Bender War, due to neither party directly inflicting harm on the other.
Directly after the Battle of Carnivorous, the Pikmin Warriors, along with their allies the Aquaneers, launched direct attacks onto both the Mechanical Demons and Origin Wave. This battle had high casualties for all parties involved. The battle crippled the Aquaneer’s Battleship, The Pikmin Warriors lost a large amount of troops and their massive flying fortress was damaged, Origin Wave held out but lost many troops, and the Mechanical Demons fled the battle only losing some aerial units.
The Mech-Bender Wars turned into the War to End All Wars after the events of the last attack didn’t destroy the Mechanical Demons.
The Battle of Carnivorous
The Battle of Carnivorous was the first battle in which every world power participated. It began when a pod was dropped onto the planet from some organization known as “The Destructor”. When the pod landed, the commanders got together for the first time to figure out what to do about it.
The meeting resulted in two separate plans. One group was under the impression that when the door opened, they would attempt to chop the body of the beast in half with two massive guillotine blades, while the other commanders provided support to the troops on the front line. In reality, most of the commanders gave explicit orders to their troops not to assist Mechanical Demons or Origin Wave’s troops, and the battle was a massacre.
The Battle of Carnivorous marked the first battle in which troops were honored in a memorial. Zol left a guillotine with the names of every lost soldier etched onto it. This started a tradition, in which every major battle was marked by one of these blades.
The War to End All Wars
Seen to many as a continuation of the Mech-Bender Wars, the War to End All Wars is separated only by the fact that it brought about a 3 year era of peace. The war began when Fire Lord Pikpik shut off all communications and trade routes.
The Mechanical Demons launched a desperate counter attack on the Pikmin Warrior’s base, but due to the massive elemental barrier that Fire Lord Pikpik had constructed, the attack proved fruitless. The Second Logs Army then attempted to break through the barrier, successfully breaking through 2 layers of the barrier before having to abandon their mission because of an electrical barrier that they could not pass. The last attempt to break through the wall proved successful, as a small band of pikmin and three commanders made it through the barrier to say goodbye to the leader of the Pikmin Warriors.
Finally the Pikmin Warriors take off in their massive flying fortress heading straight for the base of the Mechanical Demons. At the same time, the leader of the Aquaneers decides to march on Origin Wave. The Pikmin Warrior’s campaign proved successful, at the cost of the entire army they destroyed the Mechanical Demons. The Aquaneers and Origin Wave met in route between the Pikmin Warrior’s base and Origin Wave’s base, where a conflict took place that destroyed the majority of both armies, and the two commanders dueled each other to near death.
This battle was a bloody one, costing the most lives of any battle yet seen on PNF-404. The price was high, but the prize was three years of peace between all commanders on the planet.
The Snagret Campaign
This campaign was a shadow war fought under ground during the Era Of Peace. In an attempt to protect those being ravaged by the Snagrets, Origin Wave went below ground and began a long bloody campaign to save everyone they could and destroy the Snagrets. The fighting began as a slaughter, on the part of Origin Wave who was unfamiliar with underground fighting. After a year, the fighting began to turn in favor of Origin Wave, who had begun to master underground warfare.
After a long and bloody three years, Origin Wave made one last gambit, placing all of the potential targets in one location drawing all of the Snagrets toward that area at one time. Origin Wave took out the remaining Snagrets, taking some of the eggs from the nests back to the base to train a new generation of Snagrets for good.
The Battle of the Man At Pegs
This battle takes place near the end of the Era Of Peace. The Second Logs Army, in an attempt to prove their worth, goes to battle against a Man At Pegs and fights it single handedly. The results were disastrous, with the Second Logs Army receiving heavy casualties. At the end of the battle, the monster warned the commander of a new enemy, whose name was Claisen. Claisen was said to have been responsible for all of the abominations that had accidentally been released.
Battle Against the Nectar Army
When a massive orange blob landed on top of the Second Logs Army, a new war began. This war begun by a simple assault on the army by Origin Wave and The Aquaneers. The assault did little but aggravate Nectaron, and Nectaron quickly declares war on The Dessert Army. The Dessert Army is hit hard in the attack, but they take down most of Nectaron’s remaining forces.
The final battle was an all out assault by almost every commander’s army. Nectaron’s base was destroyed, as was his massive Plasma Wraith that had been hiding there. Nectaron was captured and interrogated, where he told his interrogators that the Plasma Wraith had been the one giving him instructions. Nectaron was released back to his tribe, and the war drew to a close.
