Bolt has called a meeting with all the commanders.
Bolt: My dear Friends, two things have come to Zol and my attentions. First, a new mission has been sent to us by the good Dr. Clausen. He wants to help take down a dangerous man at legs with a body made of solid HF rocket metal. The legs are made of wood, and are it's weak points. However participates correctly will be rewarded with a share of the creatures body.
The second thing is that someone had struck out against us in the Carnivorous battle. Despite this, I will allow said someone to help, as we need all the man-power (pun) we can get.
*Bolt smiles maliciously at Pik Pik*

I lost many powerful troops against that giant plant and there's already another monster? Since it's not a "World Destroyer" thingy I guess it's less powerful?
I can send my Chaos dirigibugs in, since they use explosive balls of liquid, but until I get my Rocket-at-legs, I'm not sure I will be of much use...
Man-at-legs' weakness is their main body, which is in the air. I won't reach it with drills.

Bolt: This one seems to be the opposite it's legs are made of wood.

Well, I'm sorry if some of us don't have people skills...or emotions. Anyways, this thing is nothing. Wooden legs just mean burn it. One little flame hits them and it's out instantly. Basically, someone distracts it and we set it on fire.

At least this one seems to be less powerful than the past one. Maybe if we focus on developing the fire Chaorbs we might be able to simply burn the legs, and render it useless. Then my miner pikmin can assist in the harvesting of the chassis. Or we could just drop a fire elemental on it... maybe lay out a field of flammable objects and then set it ablaze?
Also, when is this beast arriving? do we have a day warning like last time?

I've got the simplest solution of all; we find that goopy stuff, lure/drop the monster into a patch of it, and viola! Burn, chop, it doesn't really matter.

*Bolt takes a map from Zol, then pins it to the wall*
This is it's location, the Citadel of spiders. It is a cave, meaning large machinery will be limited... will be limited. Dr. Claisen said something about it's home being their, meaning it may not attack us at all. It will simply wait their for prey.
*Pulls out a letter, and pins it to the wall as well*
From: Dr. Claisen To: Zol
I had been constructing a new type of MAL, it's body is solid H.F. Rocket metal, lickily, it's legs were not armored, and are made of wood. Because of the rocket metal, it is much faster than an ordinary MAL. It also has been engineered for intelligence, and is much better at planning than an ordinary.
Included in this is a map to it's location. It will go back to its orginal location, trust me, it will be there.
If you defeat it, I will let you have the HF Rocket metal it is made of.
*A map falls out, with a X on the citadel of spiders.*

Alright, I for one like the goopy idea! All we have to do is successfully locate it in the treasure hunt and place it down on the ground. Then the orange pikmin and fire chaorbs can burn it to death!
Also in the spirit of working together, we should make sure we support all of the troops. Clearly the last battle was a result of inability to forgive and move past rivalries, and it cost Clapton and chaos the most!
What we need to do is all come up with one unified plan, and enact it TO THE LETTER.
If all goes according to plan, we should suffer minimal losses, and everyone will get some HF metal!
If we do not work together, it will cause a lot of damage and no one will get the appropriate reward!

Just set it on fire. It's really easy.

The main problem is that it is in a cave and will require the smaller pikmin to fight it alone. It is also fast. We have to immobilize it before we can set it on fire.

(Do we have knowledge of the layout of the Citedel of Spiders? If not ignore the next message.)
Zol racks his brains for a second and states, "Actually a few of my troops came from that area a while back. It has fire geysers inside as well as appently electricity? I'm going to assume that it has a way of detecting how fire starts. I have a feeling we are vastly underestimating it's speed though.

Now there's an idea...
What if we took a (or several) Brown Pikmin, had it bait the thing into running after it, and lead it into a dead-end, digging away to live, of course. Then, we send in as much fire as we've got behind it! Alternately, one of those guillotine blades could be reworked into a wall trap.

I guess I can have a few Skitter Leafs scout the area first . We are also making the assumption that it's actually alone. I mean it's a good assumption but I'd rather not get surrounded. I guess I could set up a guillotine trap, I'd just have a hard time thinking it would fall for it given that it has some semblance of intelligence. Brown Pikmin could try but I'll say there's the chance of bad luck that they'll bury into a flame geyser source.

Brown Pikmin aren't stupid. They know how to dig and aren't just gonna go flying into some fire pit.

I beg to differ, my miners can never remember where they dug up their stuff!
