As the Arachnodes surveyed the area, they didn't see anything. It was just a barren wasteland, really. Nothing was in sight. The Steam Machines were powered down, eliminating all noise around the area.
Well, maybe you could hear the noise of the clever Blue Pikmin. They were tired (getting to a high up stump by a tunnel of water is always exhausting) but they had enough energy to find the leftover equipment that the Pikmin of the Mechanical Demons weren't using. Really, it was a cake walk. The Blue Pikmin were carrying a nice stack of petals along with several guns and some nice armor. It was really a great find. All of the machines were powered down, presumably to help decrease some pollution, so the Pikmin snickered without being worried of getting caught. They also looted their guns because why not? They went back into the tunnel, covered it up with some nice wood, and went on there jolly good way towards the Pikmin warriors.
Well, the winner and the loser are clearly highlighted here.
The Pikmin Warriors won: All of the Mechanical Demon's petals. All of the guns and armor.
The Pikmin Warriors didn't lose anything.
The Mechanical Demons won some knowledge about these types of tactics.
The Mechanical Demons Lost: All of the Petals they have. All of the guns and armor. Probably some confidence. So, did I do it correctly?

You followed my plans exactly! Bet you didn't expect an underground stealth mission!

Weird, would have thought the Aquatic Cannon Larvae would have found tunneling units, especially water tunnels. Trying to wrap my head on that one.
Just having a hard time thinking that the base inside would have no awake defenders. Then again I have no idea what the plans are.

Wierd, would have thought the Aquatic Cannon Larvae would have found tunneling units, especially water tunnels. Trying to wrap my head on that one. The Cannon Larvae wasn't digging, actually. It was included in the plan, and it was phrased in a way that made it clear that the creature was just sitting around. Here's the plan.

. Okay, all mechamin are equipped with Scorpion SMGs and Titanium MADVAK armor.
Next, I want to place the Arachnodes on all sides of the base, they act as lookouts. Once the enemy comes within their line of sight, send them into the base to tell Bolt, so the next parts of my plans can be put into action.
I want the dweevils to grab 5 units the Iron, and carry it with them! I need that Iron!
Once Bolt is warned, he will lead all the troops away from the resource storage, and out of the enemies line of sight, but still close enough to attack when the time comes.
Meanwhile, while the enemy marches in, the storm walker will do a single, quick hit and run, running into the enemies, shooting them with machine guns and shells, and then running off.
Once the enemy has made it into the resource storage. Two things will happen.
1. the Cannon Beetle larvae will begin to burrow into the ground, to make a tunnel into the resource storage, the Dwarf Roboborbs and Mecha groinks will follow into the storage area through the tunnel.
2. The Mechamin will ambush the enemies, surrounding all entrances before entering and firing on enemies, but the Arachnodes and Steam Dweevils will stay behind with the Iron.
If the Enemy escapes, all units give chase.
Units should take priority on enemies holding stolen goods, but firing on any unit is acceptable.
Don't forget to take into account any upgrades, projects, etc!, and any and all plans of both sides, if you need some tips, ask Pendragon!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The begin part indicated that the Larvae wasn't already digging.

Well my Arachnodes were there and I assume that hauling all that equipment would take a ton of time, plenty for the Aquatic Cannon Larvae to sense something was burrowing I'd think. Unless he had it on some recon far away. Should we assume that all units are in base? I mean do we have to list each individual unit in our plans? If we don't mention them by name should they not be included in any defensive battles? I'm not quite sure...

The reason his plans didn't work was because I was specifically preparing for the exact plan he came up with. I was putting everything down on the hopes he was expecting a full on assault. Also, since Brown Pikmin are lookout/stealth units, they would be difficult to notice.

If you really disapprove, I'll ask pie to send me the battle plans he got. I can't approve or disapprove anything if I don't have all info.

The Brown Pikmin that dug the hole is stealthy, so it might have missed the Larvae's "burrowing senses." Also, the Blue Pikmin swam through the hole.
Did you guys like the writing?

Err why were the machines powered down? I'm still having a hard time that 0 units were in the Storage area, did just have units explicitly guarding the storage area on the first raid? That and the silent part makes it sound like the digging should be more noticeable. Were those guns water proofed too?

Writing is fine, I'm just wondering how much detail we have to put in our plans, the absolutely no one in the general area of the weapons/ petal area bothers me. Also in the plans the troops were holding onto the weapons from what I see. The way it's written is fine, it's just the content that's a bit confusing.

. Once the Arachnodes are being lookouts, where are the rest of the units? Do they guard anything?

. No. They are inactive untio bolt is warned. Then the rest of my plans go into affect. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Iron and titanium are water proof metals, right? If they aren't water proof, I guess they would had either exploded or became defected. I'm not a metal expert.

Light Blue Pikmin controlled the water to safely transport the items and Black Pikmin were keeping anything electrical in check.

Well at the very minimum the Armor and Weapons should still be on the Mechmin, Unless the troops decided to pry them off them while they were inactive somehow.

Here is Just's plan:
Phase 1: Scout I'm sending one Brown Pikmin throughout the day to check out his base by digging around underground, making small tunnels that all connect. He will hide his tracks by covering the top of each tunnel at the enemy tunnel entrance. Doing this will give us information on any traps he has set up and gives us a good idea of where all his stuff is located. Then, keeping his tracks covered, the Brown Pikmin will make sure all of the enemy tunnel entrances are closed up well, so nobody will fall through. He will then return and relay the information gained to General Pik Pik.
Phase 2: The Tunnel All Brown Pikmin will help to create a roomy tunnel which is the main tunnel. IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO THE OTHER SMALL TUNNELS. They won't fully complete the tunnel, but they will leave the ground thin enough for the next part. After that, the Light Blue Pikmin will completely fill up the tunnel with water. It will be a direct tunnel leading from my base to his, only there's that it is full of water, so only water breathing units can use it. Then all the Blue Pikmin and Blue Pikmin Savages will get inside of the tunnel.
Phase 3: Infiltration The Blue Pikmin Savages will push the ground that was left from the hole digging up so it is complete. Since it is night, they will be hard to notice and the Mechamin will likely be expecting an assault instead of a sneak in and sneak out. Using the Pikmin camoflauge ability, the Savage Blue Pikmin will stealthily find their EQUIPMENT and PETALS which we have the location of due to the scout. The scout also studied the patterns of guards to avoid them. Once finding the EQUIPMENT and PETALS, the Blue Pikmin Savages will carry them out to the watery tunnel and pass them on to the Blue Pikmin inside so the Blue Pikmin will quickly move the stolen goods back to the base with the Light Blue Pikmin controlling the water current to help. With the extra effectiveness of Blue Pikmin Savages in raids, they should be able to get plenty. Try stealing all EQUIPMENT and PETALS. I do not care about resources. Once the job is done, all the Blue Pikmin that went on the stealthy stealing mission will return home through the large tunnel. Once they all get back, the Light Blue Pikmin will freeze the entrance at my base's side to ensure no enemies can get through. Then the Black Pikmin will zap the water to kill any enemies that may have found the hole and jumped in. The hole will be covered up once the Blue Pikmin make it through with leaves to make sure the enemy doesn't find it. Throughout the time the Blue Pikmin are there, the Black Pikmin will be standing there to keep the water electricity free.
Emergency Situation: If the scout is found while doing the scouting at all, he will immediately return to the base while all the small connected tunnels are blasted with water to create multiple geysers on the opponents side and then frozen to freeze their base and be very inconvenient. If the Blue Pikmin are spotted at any time, they will immediately flee through the water tunnel until reaching the side that connects to my base. Once escaping the tunnel, the Light Blue Pikmin will freee the entrance on my side to keep enemies out and the Black Pikmin will electrify the tunnel to kill enemies trapped in there.
