In Terms of Projects yeah, like building a tank but a living unit instead. Looking at it they'd be stronger than the normal Pikmin and equipped with armor used in the creation process. With creation they'll have armor with thier creation but the weapons come from my army's Stock. Thanks for the alternate Idea by the way.
Also could we mix metals in armor to give more resistances at the cost of raw strength ie a mix of Pikminite and Stainless Steel resisting fire, lighting, ice, and water?

I have another WM I might do a pair of later in game...
Storm Fortress walkers: Massive fortresses on legs, they they can carry 500 lrdinary, or 50 special units in side, and are equipped with two heavy turrets and a Mass driver cannon, a remant of the hocotatian technology.
130 days, 20 units of material.

Sure, but stainless is already resistant to all those things.

Ah, then Stainless and Titanium is the only real thing to combine to get elemental resistances and acid as well I guess.
On average how long is thing kind of game anyways?

I would want to play until a group of armies that wouldn't kill each other remain.

That could take a long time. Starting over allows people to use new ideas. People get bored of their army, and run ideas for after a little bit.

Hello mods,
I just wanted to run a few ideas for new species of economically beneficial pikmin! Here is their framework.
Pikmin Lawyer Class: Elite Appearance: A white pikmin who wheres fancy clothes and carries around a brief case. Description: Some pikmin become harvesters, some pikmin join mob armies, some pikmin become architects (Phil), other pikmin attend prestigious colleges in order to get an education in how to screw over an opponent to the greatest economical degree. This is what the pikmin lawyer has done. After attending the prestigious college of Pikmin University (or P.U.), this illustrious pikmin named Carl has joined your forces in order to sue and screw over all your opponents! Battle Role: This pikmin is exeptionally good at being a lawyer, and as such, he has the ability to turn some of the opponents forces against them because of some land disagreements and sibling rivalries. He himself, however, doesn't believe in fighting with fists, but rather fights with words. Abilities: Going to law school has taught Carl alot. Carl knows that when a commander is caught up in a trial, he doesn't have the time to develop or work on his own economy. Due to the distraction of having to write up his own defense case, his petal production is halved and his research projects take twice as long! The problem is, after sueing an individual, he must wait a long period of time to gather evidence to attempt to sue him again. You can only sue one player at a time. A law suit lasts for 16 days, and after that you cannot sue the same player for 40 more days.
Research requirements: 100 days, 200 petals. Law school is expensive!
So basically what I plan to do with this fella is use him as a kind of mercenary. I would lease out Carl to other commanders to cripple certain peoples economy for a short duration. The good thing about Carl is, there is only one of him and he can only cripple one person at a time. Being a mercenary, he would make me some money, while allowing players to access a new type of play style: Subterfuge! It's always good to soften up an enemy before committing to a full scale attack! As a side note, if a player calls of a lawsuit, Carl will immediately quit suing a player, but the 40 day cool down will still be present.
Warehouse Worker Pikmin Class: Normal Appearance: Red pikmin who where caution vests and operate mini forklifts. Description: These minimum wage workers are in charge of managing the stock of resources and supplies. Their eight hour orientation video taught them who the buyers and sellers are, and where to move the stuff and put the things... I don't know why it took eight hours either. Battle Role: Very little. They know how to drive a mini forklift, but they never learned how to use the forklift offensively. All they really would end up doing is bringing extra supplies to the enemy by accident, while maybe dropping the crate on a few expecting pikmin. They would really have to be clueless. Abilities: Learning of the surplus store in their orientation had it's benefits! They now know how to sell excess materials at half the buying price.
Research time: I dont know how long basic pikmin usually take... you give me a rough estimation and i'll follow suit.
These guys would help aid in the petal deficiency we are experiencing due to the 6 research slots. Selling to the NPCs would help take the pressure off of other players. It would provide flow to the economy, which is vital for research projects to be sucessful.
Pencil Pushing Pikmin Class:Normal Appearance: Blue pikmin who where button up white shirts with a pocket protector on the right side upper pocket. They also have extra writing utensils in that pocket too, for good measure. Description: Desk jockeys, working for the man. Their life goals are to move out of their moms houses and get a promotion to black tux pikmin! They work 9-5, and have weekends off. They also spend way to long on coffee breaks and water cooler talk. Because employment is a rapidly growing at Pik Co. (TM), the number of these little buggers is growing rapidly! Battle Role: They run around in their LARPing gear that they use on weekends and try to slay the enemies. While in theory, it sounds like they have lots of battle experience, in practice their swords and shields and bows and staves are all made of foam, and they are all hemophiliacs. Abilities: Because of the job opportunities that pencil pushing pikmin offer, for every 100 of these guys you have, your pikmin production per day goes up by 5! The problem is, the building can only hold 500 pencil pushers at a time, so there is a limit to the economic boom... Keynesian economics lies.
Research time: Again i need some help in this department.
The point of these guys is to escalate pikmin production, allowing for a faster pikmin population growth. I could even sell these guys to other people in order to let them produce more pikmin for their army per day, as long as they have a building to house them in.
Inconveniently Parked Bulborb Class: Elite War Machine Appearance: It's a massive Invisible bulborb. Description: This bulborb has been taken from birth, fed a steady diet of foods that are only clear, and eventually engineered to be completely invisible. After being turned invisible, he was taught how to sit in front of enemies coffer doors, completely preventing them from accessing their petals! The best part is, the enemy is clueless because they cannot see the obstruction that is in the way! The sad part is, because this bulborb suffers from ADHD, he can only block access to a coffer for four days. After he blocks access to a coffers doors, he is lost for a little while because he is... invisible. After a while he makes his way home though, because he gets hungry and he is domesticated. Battle Role: He doesn't fight because we can't ever find him when it's time for battle... Abilities: Bulby is trained to sit infront of enemies coffer doors. He can sit there for 4 days before suffering from an ADHD meltdown and running off. When blocking an enemies coffer, they cannot gain, spend, or trade any petals (JUST petals). When he runs off, he is gone for 16 days before coming home for food. Poor bulby, he is so stupid.
Research time: 150 days, 300 petals and 5 blowhogium
This guy would be another way of sabotaging and crippling an enemies income for a short period of time. This is great because it helps weaken enemies prior to attacks, or after attacks it could be even more crippling. Subterfuge is wonderful in these games, don't you agree!
Let me know what you guys think!

Pencil pushing pikmin: no. Just no. No extra soldier production... at least for now.
Warehouse worker pikmin: Not sure what this would really accomplish, as you can just lower the price yourself, but you can do it if you want.
Bulborb thingy majig: Maybe tone it down, a whole 4 days worth of petals is a big loss.
Lawyer guy: again, tone it down? I don't want to hurt our economy too much. Myabe just the petal loss would do?

So nerf the Lawyer so he only effects petal production by half. check.
The Bulborb, can he block trade for 4 days instead of the coffers? Its just easier to work in 4 day increments than 1 day because an actual real day is 4.
As for the pencil pushers, can they provide a taxable income? Like for every 500 pikmin you get an extra 10 petals or something of that nature?

No. Special and normal units do not require any sort of project. That sounds fine.
