Heart Breaker (Valentine Special)

We will be using the old system for this battle FYI.

I will commit Evergreen to the fight to help Joan Do Lee and Bok.

I'll go at it. That will be 4 participants.

Nope, have fun losing all your money! Malefio said in the staff room he would be unable to post until the end of this weekend. I'm not participating, however, since everyone else is, Volug will relax on the beach today.

Part 1: Breaking Hearts

“Hello folks, we have an exciting event for you tonight! A long way from home, we have the princess of the arena, Heart Breaker. She has journeyed long and hard to challenge our new gladiators. She has accepted the challenge from five of our local gladiators… From the dry desert sands, the whiptail that loves to envenom his prey… Sting! From the icy mountains, the ice golem that is super chill, Bok! The master of all things Pie-Kwon Dough, Joan Do Lee! Just arriving after dropping his kids off at daycare, we have Crawdad! And last, but not least, we have the Tree Ent who wouldn't repent, Evergreen!”

*The crowd goes wild for their champions. The dessert pikmin begin doing the wave, while the eastern desert storm troops stare hungerly at them. The Vegans hold up their signs that say “Friendship is Fun” while the Aquaneers begin to laugh and tell each other jokes, comparing the size of Bok next to Joan Do Lee. Origin Wave’s side is full of snipers, who brought their scopes from their guns to get closer to the action. Everyone is excited for this showdown.*

“Alright, is everyone ready for this? Let’s find out! LOWER THE GATES!”


*The horn blows, as Heart Breaker is released from where she was held. The 5 others prepare in the center for the massive siren.*

Bok and Evergreen form a defensive wall at the front, while Sting and Crawdad begin going under the sand to create sinkholes. Joan prepares to create clones of himself. Heart Breaker draws back Heart Seeker, and aims her deadly heart shaped arrows. She launches one directly at Evergreen, who gets hit and staggers from his defensive formation. At the same time, the two diggers pop up from behind Heart Breaker and begin to attack her. Sting’s tail swings directly at her, but because of The Arm’s of a Lover, the stinger just glances off. Crawdad barely catches a piece of her hair in his claw, and is able to snip it off.

“WHAAA!?!?!? MY HAIR??!?!?!”

Heart Breaker reels back in anger. Her eyes turn a shade of crimson as she lets out a massive screech. The screetch paralyzes everyone, and the siren gets ready to let out her beautiful song. She sings, drawing everyone close to her and making them drop their guard. As her beautiful song goes out, she draws back Heart Seeker and lets an arrow fly right into Joan Do Lee. He goes down instantly. Bok sees his fallen ally and snaps out of the lull. He quickly turns around and slaps Evergreen in the face. Evergreen snaps out of the lull as well, and tosses a rock at Sting, who gets hit by it and wakes up out of the trance. Sting preps to snap Crawdad out of the lull, but he is too late. An arrow goes flying through the air and strikes the Crawmad right in his soft spot, knocking him out.

“It’s not looking good for our challengers. They have barely put a dent in her, and she has already claimed 2 victims! What will our heroes do?”
Sting drills back into the earth, preparing for a counter attack. Bok and Evergreen begin to work together to charge Heart Breaker with a massive frontal tackle. Heart Breaker begins to draw her bow, and aims it straight at Evergreen. The arrow releases and goes hurtling toward the massive tree ent, who is too slow to move out of the way to avoid it. Suddenly, the ground erupts and Sting deflects the arrow with his tail! The Siren sees this, and is startled by their efficiency before getting nailed by the 2 massive goliaths. Knocked to the ground, she reaches for her bow. A close quarters fight breaks out, and Heart Breaker begins using her bow as a battle staff. She sweeps the ground, knocking Bok off his feet momentarily, and winds up to deliver a crushing blow. She aims her staff right at the giant, and drives it down with all her might. The attack hit, but it hit Evergreen who dived in front of his fallen comrade to take the blow for him.

“Wow! Evergreen is unconscious, taking a shot for Bok!”

Bok gets back on his feet as the siren fast approaches where he stands. She gets ready to deliver a full force hit to the chest with her staff, when a stinger emerges from the sand and hits her foot.

“WOW! Sting actually landed a blow on Heart Breaker! Maybe there is hope for them, yet!”

The siren screams in pain, and begins to prep her song. She begins singing, and the two opponents begin walking helplessly toward the songstress. Heart Breaker draws back another arrow and releases it, knocking Sting out of the fight. She then turns to Bok and slams him with her full force of her bow, knocking him back and unconscious.

“Aww! Just as it was looking good for our heroes, they fumbled and failed. They have fought as much as they could today, and now they will rest. We will see you tomorrow when someone else tries to take on Heart Breaker!”

Results: Failure.
