Second Event: Shooting
"Alriiiiiggghhhhttttah! It's time for the second event in the Pikmin games! The Shooting competition! On the Villa's rooftop shooting gallery, the wind is blowing hard today, but that just makes the challenge even better! I am PUMPED UP!!! How about you, Lily? Lily? Hello?" Lily doesn't seem to be commentating. "Where'd you go? Whatever. Look here! The contestants are already preparing themselves! This looks pretty amazing for the competition. There are so many diverse groups here today."
Down at the shooting gallery, there's six different people getting ready. One is a Watery Skitterleaf and he's got his own sniper rifle he brought. A Blue Pikmin Raider is getting used to the guns and how they work while a creepy Dark Mage stands there giggling at the guns. Danatharf, the Sherbet Pikmin is completely ready! If he was holding the gun the right way that is. A Chaos-at-Legs called Robo Bob and a Cactus Pikmin named Mablon are getting ready as well.
"Oh, what's this? It seems Pik Gates cannot participate due to a horde of Vegan protestors! Ouch!" The Vegans march in circles, holding signs with Xs on guns as they chant something about the flower goddess. "Ah well. That's alright though. Let's see how this thing goes. The large, red targets are one point while the smaller, blue ones are two. If you can hit that really small, golden target, you get ten points! Good luck everyone!"
Accuracy, the Skitterleaf loads his gun and prepares while Death, the creepy Dark Mage, and Franz, the Blue Pikmin Raider aim next to him. "Ready...GO!" Suddenly, the sound of gunfire fills the area while the groups shoot away at the targets! Accuracy and Mablon are knocking out targets like its nothing, but Robo Bob catches up by focusing on high point blue targets. Franz and Death are shooting at the targets as well, gaining points at almost the same rate. Robo Bob begins to rapidly fire at the targets as his points skyrocket! Mablon notices this competition and does his best to keep up, but can't hit the blue targets as easily! Accuracy hits a couple of blue targets, but then stops. What is he doing!? Death and Franz are both close, but Death hits a couple more blue targets, getting close to Mablon. Danatharf keeps shooting wildly and missing nearly all of the targets. Robo Bob had the highest point count and the clock is ticking down! It's almost over! Wait, what's this? A beautiful, golden shattering happens as Accuracy hits the golden target, placing him in first just as the clock reaches zero!
"The results are in! Taking first place is Accuracy with a beautiful shot on that golden target! Second place is Robo Bob and his speedy shots! Finally, in third place, Mablon takes the bronze with his skills! That's it for the Shooting contest! I'll see you all next time! Thanks for watching!"
